Melinda L. Lee graduated from
Rutgers College (B.A. 1990) and went on to graduate from Rutgers
Law School (J.D. 1997). After law school, she clerked with
Judge Anne McDonnell in the NJ Superior Court for Gloucester,
Cumberland and Salem County. Upon completion of her clerkship,
Ms. Lee continued her legal education overseas as a visiting
student at Cambridge Faculty of Law concentrating on
International Law (1998). Formerly a part of the Business and
Legal Affairs Department for major media companies, such as
Lifetime Television & MTV Networks, Ms. Lee's expertise focus on
general new media law, licensing and rights issues pertaining
to content exploitation on emerging platforms and new
technologies. Her other areas of practice include general
entertainment, production and media law, concentrating on
publishing and general rights issues with respect to content and
television programming. Ms. Lee was admitted to the bar in New
Jersey in 1998 and New York in 2002.
